At East Coast Safety Consulting, we understand the importance of CPR training. Our classes are designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to respond confidently and effectively in an emergency situation. We offer a range of courses, from basic to advanced, to meet the needs of individuals and businesses. Our instructors are experienced and certified by the American Heart Association and American Red Cross, so you can be sure you're getting top-quality training. Off-site classes require 6+ students with an added fee of $5 per student.

Authorized AHA Training Site
These CPR courses come with a two year certification from the AHA or Red Cross. We do not currently offer ACLS or PALS.
Updated 2025 guidelines. The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high quality CPR and team dynamics. This course is ideal for First Responders (police, fire, EMS), hospital staff, nurses and nursing home staff.

A BLS HCP Skills Session is the hands-on portion of a blended learning AHA BLS course. Participants must complete the HeartCode BLS online module first (purchase here), then pass a 30–60 minute in-person assessment of CPR a AED use to earn your 2-year certification. Certificate from online class is required to attend skills session.
*If you need certification for employer, verify they will accept online learning (most do not). We recommend in-person only classes.

The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who requires a course completion card in CPR and AED use in order to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course is ideal for childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, scout leaders, and youth sports coaches.
Our First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who requires a course completion card in CPR and AED use in order to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course is ideal for childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, scout leaders, and youth sports coaches.
Heartsaver Skills Session is the hands-on portion of an AHA blended learning course, which validates CPR and AED skills after completing online training (purchase here). The 24-hour EMD Officer National Certification Course is for the 9-1-1 Communications Officer who receives calls and dispatches field responders to medical calls. This course trains and certifies experienced emergency communications personnel with the NHTSA EMD National Standard Curriculum.

This course is designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA instructor-led and blended learning in BLS courses. You'll learn how to use AHA instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, and follow AHA instructor and course policies. BLS instructors should have a 1st responder/medical background.
BLS candidates - add Heartsaver Instructor for $100.

This instructor refresher course will satisfy the renewal requirements of the BLS instructor. This price will also include renewal of your Heartsaver Instructor Certification if that is a discipline you are certified to teach. *Must recertify prior to expiring.

Ride Smart™ is a structured e-bike safety course designed to promote legal compliance, crash prevention, and responsible riding. Participants learn traffic laws, defensive riding strategies, helmet safety, injury statistics, and licensing requirements. This nationally adaptable program empowers youth and communities with education before enforcement, building safer roads and smarter riders.
The AHA’s Family & Friends® CPR Course a video-based, classroom course intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR. This course is for people who do not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements. Family & Friends CPR is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance workers, school personnel, hotel housekeepers, health and fitness club staff and tattoo artists. This course meets OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens. Companies have the option to add this class to CPR for $25/pp.

The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens online course is the same material as the in-person course. Email or text us to be invoiced and the course will be emailed to you. This course meets OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens.
Those trained will receive a certification card
We can assist you in developing a Fast Team for your company. Fast Teams are especially important in large companies and/or warehouse settings. We will help you write an Emergency Action Plan and to choose and train select employees to respond to emergencies.
