Founder, Greater Florida CPR
Dr. Tameca Jewell
Dr. Tameca Jewell is an American Heart Association instructor, an American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed instructor, and the founder of Greater Florida CPR. She has been an educator for more than two decades, holds a Doctor of Education and a master’s degree in library and information science. Her commitment to CPR training is personal. After losing her father to a heart condition, she set out to put lifesaving skills in the hands of as many people as possible. She teaches BLS, Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Family & Friends CPR, and Stop the Bleed.
Her background in education shapes every class she teaches. She breaks each skill into clear, manageable steps, gives every student time to practice, and offers the kind of patient, specific feedback that builds real confidence. Students leave her classes knowing what to do in an emergency, and knowing they can do it.
Greater Florida CPR proudly serves Seminole County and the greater Orlando area from classrooms in Longwood and Winter Springs. It offers evening and daytime classes, renewals, blended skills sessions, and on-site group training. Drawing on more than 20 years of community work, Dr. Jewell partners with nonprofits, schools, workplaces, youth programs, healthcare teams, and community organizations to bring hands-on training directly to the people they serve. Whether students are earning their first certification or renewing a required credential, she is committed to training that is practical, welcoming, and built for real life.
Private CPR Classes for Offices & Organizations
Schedule instruction for a medical or dental practice, school, childcare team, workplace, nonprofit or community group. Private classes can be arranged at a suitable off-site location in the greater Orlando area, subject to instructor availability and travel requirements.
For healthcare teams, ask about BLS initial training, renewals and skills sessions. For other workplaces and organizations, discuss Heartsaver CPR AED, combined First Aid CPR AED or Stop the Bleed. Family groups can ask about training with added emphasis on infants and children.

How do I schedule a class?

Are the classrooms in Orlando city?
Our Orlando-area classrooms are in Longwood and Winter Springs, both in Seminole County. There is no Orlando-city classroom listed on this page. Confirm the selected address before traveling.
Are evening, daytime and blended classes available?
Ask about daytime and evening classes, renewals and blended-learning skills sessions. Formats and dates depend on the selected course and instructor availability. Complete any required online portion before your scheduled skills session.
Can you train our team at our own location?
Yes. Private on-site group training can be arranged for workplaces, healthcare offices, schools, nonprofits, youth programs and community organizations, subject to scheduling and a suitable training space.
Does Family & Friends CPR provide a certification card?
No. Family & Friends CPR is intended for people who want to learn CPR skills without a certification requirement. If you need a credential for work or school, ask about the appropriate BLS or Heartsaver course.
