Nationally Recognized American Heart Association Training Site
East Coast Safety Consulting is an authorized American Heart Association Training Site, allowing ECSC to provide nationally recognized AHA training and certification programs through our instructors and participating training locations.
Being an AHA Training Site means our eligible American Heart Association courses operate within the AHA training network and follow applicable requirements for course delivery, instructor qualifications, training equipment, skills evaluation and course-completion procedures.
Our Training Site structure also allows East Coast Safety Consulting to support affiliated AHA instructors, provide instructor oversight and coordinate training across an expanding multi-state network.
For students, employers and healthcare professionals, this provides confidence that eligible AHA programs are delivered through an established training organization using the American Heart Association curriculum and program standards.

Peter Magnani
Public Safety Professional • Educator • Consultant
Peter Magnani brings more than 25 years of experience in CPR, First Aid and first responder education and has trained more than 10,000 students across the healthcare field and the community. His emergency-services career began as a volunteer EMT with the South Plainfield Rescue Squad, where he is now a life member. He later worked as a paid EMT with Edison EMS and with the National Park Service at the Statue of Liberty.
Pete retired as a Lieutenant with the South Plainfield Police Department after 29 years of law-enforcement service. During his career, he received multiple lifesaving and childbirth awards while serving the community.
He is also ACPI-certified in Residential and Commercial Security Assessments and Crime Prevention, expanding his ability to help businesses, organizations and families identify potential safety and security concerns.
In addition to his public-safety and training work, Pete is a member of SAG-AFTRA and provides consulting services for film and television productions. His work helps productions portray law-enforcement, EMS and medical scenes with greater accuracy, realism and authenticity.
Rebranded in 2024, East Coast Safety Consulting LLC continues to build on Pete’s decades of public-safety, emergency-services and educational experience.
What began as a regional training operation has grown into a multi-state network of instructors, classroom locations and service areas. ECSC continues to expand nationally with the goal of making professional CPR, First Aid and safety education accessible to more healthcare professionals, workplaces, schools, organizations and communities throughout the United States.
