Dr. Tameca Jewell
Dr. Tameca Jewell is an American Heart Association instructor, an American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed instructor, and the founder of Greater Florida CPR. She has been an educator for more than two decades, holds a Doctor of Education and a master’s degree in library and information science. Her commitment to CPR training is personal. After losing her father to a heart condition, she set out to put lifesaving skills in the hands of as many people as possible. She teaches BLS, Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Family & Friends CPR, and Stop the Bleed.
Her background in education shapes every class she teaches. She breaks each skill into clear, manageable steps, gives every student time to practice, and offers the kind of patient, specific feedback that builds real confidence. Students leave her classes knowing what to do in an emergency, and knowing they can do it.
Greater Florida CPR proudly serves Seminole County and the greater Orlando area from classrooms in Longwood and Winter Springs. It offers evening and daytime classes, renewals, blended skills sessions, and on-site group training. Drawing on more than 20 years of community work, Dr. Jewell partners with nonprofits, schools, workplaces, youth programs, healthcare teams, and community organizations to bring hands-on training directly to the people they serve.
