Programs can be selected to support work toward Girl Scout badges and awards involving babysitting, first aid, CPR, emergency preparedness, personal safety, cybersecurity, investigation, and civic responsibility.
Depending on the troop’s goals, participants can choose nationally recognized American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification programs, lower-cost non-certification CPR training, or customized workshops led by experienced instructors and a retired police lieutenant with 29 years of law-enforcement experience.

Training Designed to Support Girl Scout Badge Requirements
Many East Coast Safety Consulting courses closely align with skills and activities contained in national Girl Scout badges. Depending on the badge, grade level, and program selected, our instruction may satisfy several or many of the applicable learning requirements.
However, completion of an East Coast Safety Consulting class does not automatically award a Girl Scout badge. Badge requirements can change and may include additional troop activities, projects, discussions, or leadership steps. Therefore, troop leaders should review the current official requirements and determine final badge completion.
